I am not normally a fan of zombie apocalypse stories and tend to avoid them. I had to read this one though because what I am a fan of is Toby Wise’s writing. Devin’s survival has turned him into a bit of an abrasive character, but he has done what he needed to in order to survive. Lawrence has created his own safe space and is more than willing to share it, if Devin will trust him. This is an enjoyable quick read.
